Friday Sketchers #41

Here is my card for Friday Sketchers, I know what you are thinking.....she has gone a bit OTT on inking the edges :).....well my only excuse is that is was dark in my room last night and it was the 1st time I had done it, I wanted nice even edges but it came out a bit of a mush and I didn't want to throw my beautiful image away....any tips on edging will be welcome :)
I used another image from the lovely Sue, mine arrived this morning so I can not wait to get some inked up :) the papers are dovecraft and the sentimet is from one of my SeeD's

Hope you are all having a good day, the sun is shining gorgeous today, lets hope it lasts :)
Thank you for looking

Oh this is gorgeous and I don't think you've inked the edges too much.

Love your card, but my tip for inking the edges is to use chaep make-up sponges, you know, the triangle shaped ones...
hope this helps,
Hugs Sarah-Jane xx

What a pretty card Gina, I like the edges. When I ink up the edges I used cats eye small inkpads and just drag them across the edge. Hope this helps. Hugs, Denise x

The colours and the DP are perfect Gina! The inking is fine! If you'd like less, do a test piece first to get rid of excess ink and to make sure there's not too much ink on whatever you're sponging with.
Hope that helps, but honestly, your card is gorgeous as it is.

Love the colours, image and sentiment...gorgeous.
Your inking looks great but if you want less then I would recommend the vibrance inks...they are more chalky and dry.

This card is fab Gina, I like the way you have inked the edges. I keep old colorbox chalk pads, the 'eye' shaped ones? When you can't use them for stamping they are perfect if you want a lighter inked edge.
