Mother's Day

First of all apologies for the picture, I had to take it last night because Dave is taking it up to his mam today.
Do you know I went to 3 craft shops at the weekend and could not find a Mother's Day stamp, how bad is that, or is it just that I left it too late (maybe the later) :) so I have had to use a message from a magazine, the card does look nice in real life....honest :)

Couple of Cards and flowers

Here are a couple of cards using the spring stack and studio g stamps, those little stamps are so good for 99p, I have coloured the image with sakura pens and have matted the it using my nesties and added ribbon on the side....

....and lookie what turned up in my post today a big bucket of prima blooms, I was quite surprised by the size of the bucket so thought I would try and show you by putting my stazon cleaner next to it, Thanks to Tracy for letting me know where to buy from (here if you want to take a look). The colours and sizes are great and it looks like I won't have to buy anymore for quite a while, YAY more money for other goodies :)

My Paper World Sketch #5

Here is my take on Nicola's sketch at My Paper World. I was looking to make Dave a good luck card because he starts a new job on the 10th March, but could not think of how to do a manly card again, so thank you Nicola for saving me from going mad.
I have used my new studio g stamps for the shamrock and spring stack papers

Easter Card

This is my first easter card ever, and this is for my Mom, hope she likes it, she never gets one normally!
I have used another image that Sue sent me, "Thank you" I would love this stamp but can not find it anywhere at the moment!!!,
I have used watercolour pencils to colour her with some stickles glitter on her wings, I bought the message on saturday, it is from a See D set. I also stamped some little eggs onto the ribbon from the See D set, the ribbon is bright yellow and looks so much better in real life.

Tilda in the Rain

This is an image that Sue sent me, I loved it so much I bought the stamp before I coloured it, just incase I made a mess of it :). I never use green as you may see on my blog so this is a bit of a change for me, but I do love it. I have used some K&Co papers and coloured the image with watercolour pencils, the message is from Studio G and the flowers and brads are from a kit I bought a while ago

Natalie's Blog Candy

Natalie is having a challenge with some lovely blog candy, if you have not seen it check it out, the brief is to do a birthday card in her favourite colour pink, so here is my card, once again my camera has decided not to show the correct colour, the orange is really yellow and a nice spring yellow at that!!!
I have used some backing paper I got from a kit I had a while ago, I have paper pieced the apron, boots and dress on my sugar nellie and water coloured the rest. I have used yellow and pink gingham ribbon tied together which I saw on someones blog but can not remember who (sorry), and last but not least I have used a pink cat studio stamp for the message.

Good Luck

I made this card for a friend who is going for a new job, it is a very simple card but I like it. I have used lilac pearl card and put that through my cuttlebug with the stylized embossing folder I have added a tag onto some ribbon with an eyelet and added a flower too. The message is one from a new set I bought from Papertrey Ink (mixed messages)

SBS 9 Monthly Sketch Challenge

Here is my card for this months sketch, the sketch is done by Suzann this month I have posted a picture below my card,
I have used my new stamp from Pink Cat Studio (Crafty Kitty plate #1) these stamps are great to colour, I have done some faux stitching around the edge, it was my first attempt and I must admit I really enjoyed it, so much so I think I went a bit over the top and did around the card and the image. I have added some ribbon and epoxy flowers on to the card as well.

Craft Queen

Not too happy a bunny today, I was having a lovely evening in my craft room last night colouring in my kitty (pink cat studio stamp) and decided I would use my nesties to cut her out, anyway, I have not embossed with the nesties before because I hadn't got a tan mat for my cuttlebug so I bought one last week and decided to give it a go, well guess what happened...........well I heard a bit of creaking and then a crunching and ...........yes my b mat snapped, arghhhhhhhhhh. I guess it was a bit used but still, I would of thought it would last longer than that, I don't know if I did something wrong but it did not look as though is was going to get through anyway!!! oh well have ordered some more today, so will read up to see what if anything I did wrong.
This is a card made to go with the PIF candy I had earlier in the week, I have another 2 to make later but thought I would share this one with you, all of the girls are craft queens, I have used my new pink cat studio stamp and coloured it in with sakura pens.

Baby Millie

This is a card for Sue's blog candy I am sure you have all had a look but if you havn't go and check it out because she has got a some fab candy, the brief is "Lilac" which I thought would be very easy because I have soooo much lilac card and crafty bits, but last night I think I had a spot of colour blindness because every lilac I picked out was different, in the end I asked Dave!! some where more pinky and others were more bluey (if that makes sense) anyhow this card is what I came up with, I inked my new Sugar Nellie Baby Millie stamp and have to say she is the cutest little thing. I have used glitter card for the backing and layered with bazzill with ribbon round it.

Tilda with Basket

This is my 1st Magnolia card, I must admit it took me quite a while to make it but I am quite pleased with how it turned out.
I have used Tilda with Basket stamp and coloured in with sakura pens and watercolour pencils, I wanted it quite glitzy, the backing paper is from a pack I got a while ago.
