Papertake Weekly Challenge

Here is my card for Papertake weekly challenge, this week is a sketch by Dawny it is a great sketch but for some reason I don't think my card has done it justice,

Feeling a bit sorry for myself today, the strong rain and winds we had a few nights ago have now equated to water stains in the kitchen on the ceiling and walls and in the conservatory !!! no idea how it got in. Have had a big bust up with Dave today, bless him he does try his hardest, but we have not one bit of luck since we moved in this house 5 years ago, we have had a bird stuck behind the fire, a bee's nest, wasps in the loft, rats in the garden, the neighbours had a toilet blockage which meant they had to rip up our conservatory floor to get to the manhole !!!! apparently we have the only one in the street if anyone needs unblocking, chimney breast out, tons of electric problems OK OK I here you say, but there is more :) I won't go on though, you have been put through enough, and you only came to look at a card :)
thank you though, I think I have got it off my chest..... a bit :)

Your card is beautiful and it does the sketch great justice. Sorry about all your house troubles, we gave up on older houses about 11yrs ago and bought a brand new one, not so much space but thankfully not many problems. Sue :o)

Gina, your card is gorgeous and love the non Christmas colours you have chosen.

Sorry to hear about your house. There is nothing worse than water getting in some where but you do not know where ! ! It happened to us and the ceiling in the dining room collapsed - it was not a pretty sight. The good thing (!) to come from it was that the insurance company agreed to plaster all the ceiling downstairs and we got rid of the horrible artex ceiling !!!

Take care and I hope things get better soon.
