Secret crafter Saturday Challenge #2

At last a card, I will explain in a bit why I have not done a card for a few days but first, here is my card for the secret crafter saturday challenge, I needed an easy card to get me going again with no colouring!!! the paper is DCWV, the image is from the lovely Han and the rest is bits and bobs from my stash

Ok... now here is the reason I have not made any cards in the last few days. The fabulous lovely Linda lent me some prisma's...now let me tell you, I thought I would get a few to play with not the whole lot, I am so grateful "Thank you Linda xxx"
Anyhooo, I have been having a play and I must admit, and I say this with a sad heart, I can not get the hang of them AAGGGHHHHH :( Linda also leant me a paper stump and blending fluid. I hate not being able to do it, I am just getting in such a mess with the fluid (messy pup that I am). I have looked at a few tutorials and they make it look so easy, so I will persevere for a while and see if I can get the hang of them but don't hold your breath :)
Thank you again Linda xx

Great card Gina I love the black and white. How kind of Linda to lend you the pencils.. keep trying it takes a bit of practice and you do need smooth card stock.I have to admit I don't have the patience for it now since using pro markers!! Sue :o)

Beautiful card :o)x

Prismas do take a lil while, the only advice I can offer is to colour the edges & then work the colour in with circular movements & it lets you leave lighter areas where you would like them.

Your card oozes Style Gina! It's classically elegant. I love it.
That's a smashing image.
I use Crayola pencils and Sansador. (Dead cheap so you don't mind the learning curve so much).
Keep trying and don't dip your stump too far in, there's no need and it wastes the Sansador. ;0)

Hi Gina, love your card. The colour scheme is perfect. As with all things I think practice is perfect (although I prefer to use my pro-markers). Lots of love, Denise x

gorgeous card Gina, love the Black & white, the prisma pencils do take some getting used to, I had an awful job, but they are now my fav thing to colour an image with, Hope this helps and thanks for joining us at SCSC Hugs Jill x

I love this card, very chic!
As for the prismas it's only practice, practice, practice.
I tend to think of it in these terms. I wasn't born with the ablility to iron a shirt I mastered it by practising. I am now very good at it. This is a mantra I have passed on to my four sons by the way LOLOL!!
The difference with the prismas is that it will be fun!
