Help needed please

Ok, so here is my dilema, I have my birthday coming up and I would like some new pens or pencils but have no idea what to go for and was wondering ....... if you had the money and choice what you would prefer and why.
I have seen people using copic, promarkers, distress inks, prisma colours etc etc and I am in such a dilema as in what to have
I would be soooooo grateful if you could just give me an opinion
Thank you soooo much xxxx

Hiya Gina

that is one huge dilema....lol!!! I use Copics and love em, Distress Inks and love em, Whisper pens which are ok, as for water coloured pencils, I use a mix of WH Smiths, Derwent water coloured and inktense. Sorry cos I've probably confused you all the more now, but in your little package, from my blog challenge that you won, you will receive a Copic marker, so you can have a little play with that and see what you think. That all sounds as clear as mud....sorry xx vicki xx

I have tried Promarkers and Copics but prefer the Promarkers. I think they look so professional. x

Pro Markers every time they are so easy to use and they give such an evan colour which you can then shade by just going over the areas you want shaded. I have used nothing else since buying mine and I just love them but they are very addictive. I just want more more more!!!. Sue :o)

If it were me and we had the money I would want copics...seems to be a new rage around here, and I am trying desparately to NOT want them!! LOL
but I think the copics are like promarkers so that would be good too!
hope that helps!

Hi Gina, I suppose it is all down to the individual, I know Natalie loves her pro-markers and lots of people have recently bought these. I personally love all my SU stuff of course, the markers are great for colouring and also the watercolour wonder crayons are fab. I also have the Derwent Watercolour pencils but I hardly get these out now!! Happy shopping!! Jules xx

I think I'd say either the Pro Markers, they are so quick to use or Prismacolors, these are still my favourites!

Dependant on how much you had to spend, I would buy a little of everything and play. That way you could test out whats out there and what your comfy with ... Promarkers are good though, have fun spending xxx

UUmmm, I have to say I have some pro-markers and am still getting used to them, I have some prismacolors and still can't really get to grips with them, I love my SU pens which I use like watercolours, and my all time favourites are my aquarelle pens by Faber. I think its really down to personal choice, will email you in a bit. Hugs Linda x

Hi Gina, I have pro-markers and they are very easy and quick to use, they have taken me alot to get used to, but the more shades you have the better detail you can add to your image, I also you my prisma pencils and they are still my fav and I use these with paper stumps and sansodor, hope this helps Jill x

Hmmm... tricky one. Well I have Copics which I LOVE, I have Coloursoft pencils to use with Sansodor which I also love and alos watercolour pencils plus Whispers pens and a few others. For Copics and Pro markers I would suggest buying a couple and seeing how they are for you, there is a learning curve with Copics but I do love mine. I have never tried pro markers so can't really comment on these but I know alot of people like them. I have certain images that i would use different mediums for, i love cartoony images coloured with Copics ie. elzybells and that and bigger images I tend to use pencils and sansodor and watercolours other times - so confusing but basicially i use what i feel like using at that particular time!!!! Sorry completely no help but I would say see if you can try and few first before spending lots of £s! xx
