"I Love You"

Here is my anniversary card for Dave, as we have been together 7 years today (where does the time go!) I know it is not very manly but I can not do masculine cards, he does not mind at all, as long as I have made it for him.
I have used a penny black stamp and coloured in with watercolour pencils, I have used my nesties in a different way this time, I have cut out 2 scallop circles and a normal circle for the stamp, I have then cut a smaller circle into one of the scalloped circles so that it is like a frame, I have then used 3d squares to layer it up slightly (hope that makes sense!!). I think the rest speaks for it self.
The picture is not that good again, and I seem to be having problems with the colours, the card is deep purple but shows up as blue, I am taking the photos in my conservatory with a clear roof so the light is as good as it can get, the camera I have got is 5million pixels and quite a decent camera so any help again!! would be really appreciated,

Very very cute card, Gina! And you have such sweet husband who doesn't care if the card is masculine! Good for him! Congrats on your 7th Anniversary! Wishing for many more happy and joyful days to you both! ~ Manna

Congratulations! The frame effect looks fantastic, that's a really good idea!
The photo looks good to me, Sometimes I am happy with my photos, then other days I cant figure out why I'm not so happy, as I always take them the same way!
The only thing I can suggest is taking LOADS of pics, then see what turns out best, but honestly I think your photo looks fine!

Ok! I'm back! Now I understand! The photo is good, but you are not happy with the colour!
Maybe try it in a different room? Sometimes I notice that my colours look truer when, I take photos in the room and not by the window, just experiment a bit. Sorry for all this waffle!

Happy Anniversary to you! I think your card is sooooo cute - and I know what you mean...I have a really hard time with manly cards -especially when the sentiment is so 'mushy"...basically I only really make those for my hubby and he just likes that I make him a card after he's seen me make so many others for everyone else! No advice on the photo thing...I am trying to adjust my colors too...good luck!

Adorable! Happy happy happy happy happy anniversary! (think Flintstones..did you see that episode where Fred sings to Wilma?) Hey, try this link and tutorial...

I made a light box for my pix with just the box and tissue paper and they are ever better!! I also use a photoshop type program called Pikasa. It makes it easy to adjust the lighting factor as well!

Cute card! Happy Anniversary to you (I can't even remember our 7th anniversary...we've been married for almost 28 years!) Don't own Nestabilities, but will need to look into that!

Have a great day!
